Rockland Homes for Heroes

Rockland Homes for Heroes is a 14-unit, affordable, supportive housing development for veterans and their families. Located on the former grounds of the historic Camp Shanks, Rockland Homes for Heroes Phase II adds additional housing to the 8-unit Phase I development located next door. These barracks, which have not been used as housing since the closing of Shanks Village in 1954, will once again be homes for veterans and their families.
