Rockland Homes for Heroes

Rockland Homes for Heroes is a 14-unit, affordable, supportive housing development for veterans and their families. Located on the former grounds of the historic Camp Shanks, Rockland Homes for Heroes Phase II adds additional housing to the 8-unit Phase I development located next door. These barracks, which have not been used as housing since the closing of Shanks Village in 1954, are once again homes for veterans and their families.
