Landmark place is a multi-building residential development for seniors age 55 and over, consisting of historic preservation and new construction. The historic Kingston Almshouse will be restored to accommodate 34 new apartments, and a new construction on the site will provide an additional 32, for a total of 66 new units. All units will be built for accessibility and furnished with energy-efficient appliances. The historic cottage next to the Almshouse, originally built in 1916, will be renovated for a full-time on-site superintendent. Amenities will include on-site laundry and 2500 square feet of community program space.
